Selfie Upgrade

This is me :D

I'm all about comfort. I feel my best when I'm comfortable with the things around me therefore my bedroom is my favorite place. This picture shows a lot about me because it shows how I'm still a bit of a child because I just can't let go of my 4ft teddy bears and I just love them. It also shows how much I value my memories with my friends because of the pictures on my wall which are selective but shows moments of my life. Like every teenager, I'm also lowkey addicted to my phone, looking at memes, and listening to music because it calms me down or hypes me up.

Taking this photo, I decided to use the timer on my camera to take it instead of the usual phone camera selfie. I used the rule of thirds so I was more to the left instead of the center. There are a lot of loud print that are distracting but it shows a lot of who I am because even though I am organized, there are bits of me that are still messy and trying to find a pattern in life.

Something that people don't really know about me is that I longboard. I used to skateboard and cruise around a lot but after breaking enough boards, I decided to go with just a basic longboard to get around. My favorite pair of shoes are my slip on vans because even though they're basic, they're super comfortable. This photo also shows how I love going out and just skate because the wind blowing my hair and gliding through places just makes me feel free and I love the sights I get to see with it like this sunset.

For this photo, I ditched the usual selfie and took a picture of my feet doing something I love. I also used natural lighting to keep it natural. I worked angles as well and took it somewhat from under the board instead of just the side or the top. I also tried to incorporate the background to show the type of sights I see when wandering around.

To some people this might just be a simple selfie but I really liked how it turned out. When taking photos I tend to mess around with my hair a lot because it kind of important to me. Also, I have a snapchat filter on to represent how much I use it a lot. In my snapchat, I have a personal vlog story that I've created with selective people chosen to see it. I use it as a way of entertainment not only for other people, but also for myself because I enjoy doing it. To most people I'm quiet and somewhat shy but when you get to know me, I tend to be very loud and just care free.

For this photo, I used natural lighting and a plain background so it doesn't take attention away from me. I really like how it turned out because the plain white background really made me standout and the natural lighting just gave it a better look.
